There is no new content or changes to the game itself in the Special Edition. to support both games it is best to build the mod in the classic creation kit, then port to SSE. I'm talking 60+ fps consistently, not crashing or stuttering, just the works. I've got a Go SE if you don't already have a successful LE mod list setup.
