Csgo does not download .bsp files

BACKUP file is a backup of the BSP before the map was packed using VIDE. This is most likely due to the games updating, and the tools not being updated.

When you download a custom map, whether off a website or a server, you download the .bsp. The .bsp is only playable in TF2 and not in Hammer, whereas you can only open the .vmf in hammer

If there are connection issues during an update's download, chances are files may not get updated or may even get deleted and then not have its update downloaded with the rest of the game.

why not do a cache check? because you modified files? the cache check wont change any cfg files, or maps ect, not even models you have added, just the base files. When i play the in built maps like office it works fine, but when i try to play a custom map it doesn't work. The first time was trying to play the Zombie escape map that just takes the mick to load, in fact it never has. All my maps are BZIPed to my fast download. I'm not sure why it says the map is different from server, if i never had the map. This happens on just a few maps. 99% of the maps are fine, it is just a couple. There are no capital letters in the map. Download URL is obviously correct because other maps download fine. Any advice?
